Your Exotic, Your Victim, Your Terrorist is a project that aims to challenge the western stigma of Arab women in areas of conflict. The illustrations explore the diverse approaches to resistance by Arab women living in an IS dominated area. Using the same characteristics that fall under the stereotypical representations of Arab women in British and American news sources, the project aims to question the stigma of classifying these women as; the terrorist, the exotic, and/or the victim.
